The Canela The author of the ethnography I read is William H. Crocker and his wife jean G. Crocker. The main theme of this ethnography is or so the Canelas lifestyles and their beliefs. A huge portion of this is their conjureual living. William has visited the Canela multiple times as well including differentwise Amazonian tribes. This book is written the time he took his wife Jean and kids to Canela for the first time. Although it includes experiences from previous times just he has visited as well. He states that the Canela have a lot of rituals and use of goods and services from long ago that they steady cogitate in and impart part in. William has taken part in some of these rituals, birth has excluded himself from some of the other ones because of the rules he has as an anthropologist.
